Hide (2012) is a continuation of the themes explored in the series Water on Stone.
Inspired by the feeling of being insignificant while sitting at the ocean’s edge, this piece expresses the longing to experience nature unaffected by one’s own presence - an observer without a form.
Designed as a camouflage, its non-rigid form means it can be draped over objects and viewers, as the skin of the beach.
